Friday Finds for School Librarians – Bookmarks

This week I’m looking at some bookmarks. “My kids” wanted a new bookmark everytime they visited the library. If your budget allows, you probably want to keep a wide assortment on hand. Here are some fun ones I found.

This is a book full of bookmarks. You can either use as a coloring book or cut out the bookmarks to use.

You can also find printable bookmarks on Etsy. The great thing about these is you pay once and print as many times as you need.

As a librarian you probably do a lot of reading. This Reading Journal for Book Lovers was created with readers in mind. Some of the features include:

  • -a place to journal “Why I love reading…”
  • -a space for listing your favorite authors and favorite books
  • -Pages for listing the books you want to read
  • -a 4-page journal for 20 books where you can record information like: genre, ratings, your impressions, your review (which could translate to a book talk), and more.
  • -there are also pages for you to color (if you have time between reading books)
