Library Lady

Tuesday’s TBR

I do a lot of reading for my book review blog Library Lady’s Kid Lit found at  janemouttet.wordpress.com. As librarians we do a lot of reading – some for our library and some for ourselves. In these Tuesday posts I’ll be sharing what is currently on my TBR (To Be Read) pile with you and if it interests you, you can watch for the reviews later.

This Week’s Tuesday TBR includes:

Picture Books

As I’m getting ready for our classes the end of July, I need to read some books that we hope to use as part of our lessons. My reviews will go up on my review blog sometime in July. The following four titles will all be a part of our Art Mania sessions:

Raczka, Bob. Niko Draws a Feeling. Illustrated by Simone Shin. Minneapolis, MN: Carolrhoda Books, 2017.

Lachenmeyer. Nathaniel. The Origami Master. Illustrated by Aki Sogabe. Morton Grove, IL: Albert Whitman & Company, 2008.

Bang, Molly. The Paper Crane. New York: Greenwillow Books, 1985.

Books to read for book tours

Taylor, Diana Wallis. Hadassah. New Kensington, PA: Whitaker House, 2019. – Biblical Fiction. My review will go live July 17 as part of the Celebrate Lit tour.
