Poetry Scavenger Hunt
Want to introduce your students to poetry? This scavenger hunt challenges them to look for poetry in the following categories: poems that rhyme, poems that don’t rhyme, poems with non-English words, poems about weather, poems for birthdays, poems that mention a color, poem shorter than 10 lines, a limerick, and a poem about a sport.
It is a great way to introduce your students to poetry in a poetry unit or during Poetry Month.
