There are several activities that my library sponsors in order to raise funds for our operating expenses. Each year my budget covers the annual subscription to our automation system and the annual subscription to World Book Encyclopedia with maybe a little left for processing supplies. In order to add books and other materials requested by the teachers I hold a variety of fundraisers. Some of these are 100% profit and others have expenses (which I usually build in to the cost of the activity).
Most of these activities take place during the summer so I thought that over the summer weeks I would share some of these ideas with you. Watch for the posts on Mondays.
