Book Repair Supplies
If you can afford it, these tape dispensers are a great addition to your supply cabinet. They make taping up the spine of books so much easier.
Book Processing Supplies
Unless you purchase books that are ready for shelving, you will most likely need labels. What I like about these is that you can get a variety of sizes. Be sure you check around to get the size you want.
Label protectors are also a must. They also come in a variety of sizes.
If you want to help your paperbacks last longer, it is a good idea to cover them. You have a couple of options. You can either use the laminating film roll or you can use the Easy Cover Book Cover. The Easy Covers are more expensive so I saved their use for big books like the CIA Factbooks or other big reference books that get a lot of use.
If you use the Easy Covers, this cutting tool is a great help. It is designed specifically for cutting the Easy Covers.
This little Squeegee is a great help when you are trying to get the bubbles out of any coating you put on your paperbacks.
Sometimes, you want to keep the dust jacket on your book – especially if it has information that you don’t actually find on the book cover. But dust jackets have a tendency to become ragged with use. I would cover my dust jackets using these book jacket covers.
I’d Love to Hear from you
